Paris -Lamar County Board of Health Regular Meeting
The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held a regular session on

Dr. Hurt called the meeting to order in open session at 5:34 p.m.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Mitzie Pirtle to convene into
open session. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0 nays.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Mitzie Pirtle to approve prior
meetings minutes. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0 nays.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Mitzie Pirtle to approve the
public information request for hazardous materials, septic facilities/groundwater
use, and/or chemical spills or files at 4210 CR 22880. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0
nays.
Susan Davis made a motion and was seconded by Mitzie Pirtle to approve the
proposed FY 25 budget presented by Gina Prestridge. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0
nays.

Mitzie Pirtle made a motion and was seconded by Bart Hays to approve the
payment to Lori Cannon, CPA, $19,000. For the single audit. Motion carried. 4
yays, 0 nays.
Susan Bellene and Mitzie Pirtle reviewed and approved the First Federal bank
statements ending in:
• February 2024 (*Susan Bellene approved at last meeting)
• March 2024 (*Susan Bellene approved at last meeting)
• April2024
• May 2024 and
• June 2024
Ms. Prestridge advised that the Paris -Lamar County Health District total liabilities
and equity is approximately $2,800,000.
Next QUARTERLY meeting will be either
Monday, October 21St, November 18t", or December 16t", 2024 @ 5:30 p.m.
Dr. Hurt made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Hays for the meeting to be
adjourned at 5:45 p.m. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0 nays.

At the November 18`h, 2024 Board of Health Meeting, Dr. Hurt made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Putnam for the PLCHD
board approved July 151b, 2024 minutes to be submitted to the City Clerk in the City Hall Annex, located at 150 S.E. 1st Street,
Paris, Texas, for filing.
Motion carried 7 yays and 0 nays.
