OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS
November 18, 2024
The Paris Visitors and Convention Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 4:00 p.m. on
November 18, 2024, at the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce board room, 8 West Plaza, Paris, TX.
Present: Board Members: Brandon Kellum, Bradley Hilliard, Bud Mistry, Misty Halcomb, Monica Clement,
Sherrie Holbert, Cody Head, Denise Moffitt, Eric Guillot, Thomas McMonigle, Chadlee Johnston, Chris Kennedy,
Lindsey Bounds and Brittany Miller.
City Representatives: Rob Vine.
Absent: Board Members: Anwar Scott.
Call meeting to order.
Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00p.m.
Citizens' Forum. No one present.
3. Approve minutes from the meeting of October 2024. A motion to approve was made by Eric Guillot,
seconded by Misty Halcomb. Motion carried. 13 ayes, 0 nays.
4. Receive financial report from October 2024, by Paul Allen. A motion to approve was made by Thomas
McMonigle seconded by Misty Halcomb. Motion carried. 13 ayes. 0 nays.
5. Discuss and act on funding request for Tex Pac Square Dancing. Based on the scoring criteria a motion to
approve $1600 was made by Bud Mistry, seconded by Bradley Hilliard. Motion carried. 13 ayes. O nays.
This will be added to next year's budget.
6. Paul Allen stated that the membership luncheon with PJC is on November 20. He also stated that Dustin
Perkins will be here on December 5 and the TX BBQ will be held December 6-7, we have 40 teams signed
up now.
Adjournment.
There being no further business, A Motion to adjourn was made by Board Member Eric Guillot, seconded
by Board Member Chadlee Johnston. Motion carried, .........,13 ayes — 0 nays. Chadlee Johnston, VCC
