The above -reference request was approved by the City of "Paris Zoning Boat -d of Adjustment
("Board") on 03/18/2025 by a vote of ayes,.,, i nays and abstaining,

On this date, the Board found that the request met the end set forth y the plat filed with
the Lamar County Clerk in September of 1964.
Appeal: Any interested person wishing to appeal this Board decision is required to file a petition
for Writ of Certiorari in a district court, county court or county court at law within ten (10) days
of the date this decision is filed in the Board's office consistent with section 211.011 of the
Texas Local Government Code.
The Board of Adjustment hereby approves the variance request based upon the following
findings.
FINDINGS
1. The was an omission to the variance application process during the reconstruction of the
apartment building. (Fire rebuild).
2. The lot is plated.
3. The request for variance is in harmony with the general purposes and intent of area
regulations for multi -family buildings in residential and apartment districts contained in
the Zoning Ordinance 1710 Subsection 13-101. (c) and will protect the character of the
immediate vicinity of the area.
4. Irrespectively, there are no special or unique condition(s) of restricted area, shape,
topography, or physical features that exist on the subject parcel of land that cause unusual
and practical difficulty or unnecessary hardship in compliance with the provisions sought
here to be varied.
5. The hardship sought to be avoided is not the result of (a) the applicant's own actions
(self-imposed or self-created) and may cause (b) economic or financial "hardship." to the
applicant, if the application is denied.
6. The provision of the ordinance regulation that is sought to be varied, may deprive the
applicant of reasonable rights to use property that are conn-nonly enjoyed by other
