Chairman Emmite called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m. She read the vision and mission

a. Amotion was made toapprove the June meeting minutes byMoore and

3. Nominations for officers
e. Moore nominated byEmnokefor Chair; KoUnonominated Hart for chair.
Discussion was held and Moore accepted the nomination while Hart declined. 6
ayes, 0nays. Motion passes.
b. Hart was nominated for vice chair byMoore, Emmitoseconded. Gayes, Onays.
Motion passes.
o. KaUnawas nominated for secretary byEnnmite.Hayden seconded. Gayes, 0
nays. Motion passes.
Moore began duties amchair. Hart continued duties oavice chair. Km8nmbeQam

4. Committee Reports
e. Workplan Updates -
i. KaUnamentioned arecent PAM (Paris Arts Movement) meeting where wa
are finalizing plans for crosswalk paintings toinclude more ART in
downtown Paris. Hart wit[ besharing the details. KaUnawas invited and
walked with Bedford to several downtown merchants to share history
and information aawell emmeet the merchants. Bedford would like tn
include everyone and will ask for members tosign upto8owith her inthe
future.
ii. Hart reported specifics about painting crosswalk plan. The PAM
committee met and voted nn2designs tnpresent tothe Paris Historic
Commission, July Q'2025.
iii. Hart reported onArt Festival for 202G.Moore asked for the definition of
ART—+wiUitinclude crafts? Hart reported no, wadonot want toinclude
crafts. This infor professional artists who make jewelry, glass art,
painting, ordrawing. The date isthe Friday before the Wine Fest April 1O
and 11.Proposal for areception April 1Ofrom G-8p.nn.atthe Sibmttor
where wewould have ajuriodart oompetitinn/awundm'hors d'oeuvreo.
cash bar and music. The artists and families would b*given achance to
mingle before setting uVbooths the following morning inthe park, Library
and farmers market areas. VVuwant toinclude music, food, artists, and
children's activities from 10'2p.m.This would Lead into the Downtown
Paris Wine Fest that evening. Bedford reminded the advisory committee
about this goat being onthe work plan for 2years. More exciting details to
come, but the good news would bathat nostreets would need tobe
closed for this event.
iv. PDA- Ennmitereported ' proposal toinclude the best business ofthe
month beginning inAugust. The winner would boallowed todisplay a
sign acknowledging their win inthe front ufthe store for that month.
v. Historical Preservation Commission- Emnnito reported met toapprove
applications for businesses tomake improvements, but both were
Lacking information ornot inattendance. These projects were sent back
tobecompleted for approval atthe next meeting.
vi. Chamber/VCC-Dougherty- reported about success cfthe SU3Sunset
Concerts. VVehad the most attendees atthe first show at7,200'but all.
were welt attended. The smallest crowd was 5'3O0.Vendors loved it. The
Tour deParis Bike Race isJuly 18th.|tioopen for upto1'UOObicyclists,
but wmhave 5OOsigned upcurrently. The Gravel Grind Bike Run imJuly
20th.
5. Coordinators Report —
m. Brick Pavers -working with engraving company. Our cost vpublic cost
discussed. VVeplan tosell 4xOfor 75.8x8for 15Oand 12x12for 25O.
Bedford made uaaware ofour costs: bricks, shipment, replacements,
and install. Deadline for the 1etStreet paver project ia9/3O/2O25inorder
tohave time toinstall bycompletion date of12/31/2O25.

d. Downtown Business Guide- needs updating to include new pictures, a smatter
book and needed updates. Emnohawill head this up. VVecan get 250books for
1,800.00

i. Store visits- Bedford prepares umonthly newsletter and wants board
members to sign p to walk the newsletters around to businesses
monthly tokeep inthe know with downtown businesses.

Moore asked for etour of1stat. Alt who wanted kzattend were welcome and Bedford
provided aquick tour after the meeting adjourned.
Quick Announcements: Hart reminded board ofthe 3rd Friday Art shows atthe Gallery.
This Friday it is open to the community. You can also submit something for the show for
$10 per submission. Donations are going towards the funding for art on our crosswalks.
