The HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION of the City of Pan's met for a
special session at 4:00 p.m. on July 21, 2025, at the City Hall, 107 E. Kaufinan st, Pan's, Texas

Glee Emmitte, Linda Knox, Millicent Kee, Kelsey Turk, Lalonna West, Boyd Hale in the
audience

1. Call meeting to order.
Kelsey Turk called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m.
2. Citizens' Forum. - Alix Putnam thanked people for serving on the board
3. Approve minutes from the meeting of June 11, 2025 - postponed due to technical issues
4. Discuss and act on Appointment of Board Officers
A. Chair -Kelsey Turk
B. Vice Chair - Millicent Kee
C. Secretary - Lalonna West
A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Glee Emmite and seconded by
Board Member Linda Knox. Motion carried, —5 ayes – _o nays.
5. Discuss and act on Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of
Appropriateness for property located in the HD-1 Downtown Historic District - 208 S Main St –
Suzy Harper.
a. Replace two 6x2 foot panels in an existing pole sign which currently say
"GARAGE" to "TACOS Q" and Apply "TACOS Q" in 8 -inch vinyl letters to
awning edge, east side.

A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Glee Eremite and seconded
by Board Member Millicent Kee. Motion carried, —5 ayes – _o nays.
7. Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness for property
located in the HD-1 Downtown Historic District - 150 SE I St.
A. Crosswalk Mural: Two locations identified, the western crosswalk on the intersection
of 1 st NW and Price,, and I st NW & W. Houston.

8. Review and act on the Facade Grant for property located in HD-1 Downtown Historic

9. Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness for property
located in the HD -10 Pine Bluff -Fitzhugh Historic District - 528 Fitzhugh Ave. Sharon Hayes -
Warren
A. Renovating Home to remain habitable. No exterior change, but the patio will be
replaced with new screen and screen doors, and all the dry rot will be replaced with
new wood
