NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session <br />at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026 to consider a potential residential tax abatement <br />agreement as part of the 5 in 5 Housing Infill Redevelopment Program as set forth below. The <br />meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. <br />A video feed will be available for live viewing at The matters to <br />be discussed and acted upon are as follows: <br />1. Owner of Property: City of Paris as Trustee <br />Applicant: M & R Texas Holdings, LLC <br />2. The Name and Location of the Reinvestment Zone: Reinvestment Zone 2025-1 <br />encompassing the entirety of the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas. Properties <br />to be included in the abatement are: <br />• LCAD# 10779, Connor Place, Block 2, Lot 12, 117 NW 9th St. <br />• LCAD# 10782, Conner Place, Block 2, Lot 15, 940 Conner St. <br />• LCAD# 15380, City of Paris Block 93-B, Lot 3, 609 E. Garrett St. <br />• LCAD# 14859, City of Paris Block 72-C, Lot 8, 951 NE Th St. <br />• LCAD# 14948, City of Paris Block 74-D, Lot 4, 3rd St. <br />• LCAD# 14264, City of Paris Block 55, Lot 6, 358 NW 4th St. <br />• LCAD# 12999, Maxey Addition Block 6, Lot I (unaddressed) <br />• LCAD# 14182, City of Paris Block 51, Lot 1, 945 W. Cherry St. <br />• LCAD# 22183, City of Paris Block 89-A, Lot 10, 653 N.W. 41h St. <br />3. A General Description of the Nature of the Improvements or Repairs: New <br />construction of nine (9) single family homes. <br />4. The Estimated Cost of the Improvements or Repairs: $135,000.00 per unit. <br />Certification <br />I certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the bulletin board in the City Hall Annex, 150 First <br />St. SE, Paris, Texas and on the City's website at www.paristexas.gov, no later than 5:30 p.m. on April 28, <br />Special Accommodations <br />This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available.
