• (Persons desiring to address the Paris EDC Board must limit their presentation to no more
than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas Open Meetings Act
prohibits the Board from responding to any comments other than to referthe matter to a
future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information.
Claims against the Paris EDC, Board Members, oremployees are not appropriate for citizens'
input.)
• If necessary, the Paris Economic Development Corporation may convene into Executive
Session under Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code regarding any item on this
agenda.
3. Convene into Executive Session:
I. Pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code to
(1) discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the
governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body
seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body
and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations; or
(2) to deliberate the offerof a financial or otherincentive to a business prospect described
by Subdivision (1), to wit:

4. Reconvene into Open Session and ConsiderAction on Item(s) Discussed in the Executive Session
5. Discuss Future Agenda Items
6. Adjourn
