I . Call meeting to order.
2. Citizens' forum.
(Persons desiring to address the Planning and Zoning Commission must limit their presentation to no more than two
minutes. Speakers will not be allowed to cede speaking time to others. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the Texas
Open Meetings Act prohibits the Commission from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future
agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council
Members, or employees, as well as individual personal appeals are not appropriate for the citizens' forum.)
3. Conduct a public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of the City of
Paris for amendments to Exhibit 9B, Zoning Ordinance, addition of § 31, Data Center, to
establish regulations governing Data Center Facilities, 'Including definitions, pennitted
locations, Specific Use Permit (SUP) requirements, dimensional standards, buffering and
screening requirements, airport and glare protections, infrastructure standards,
decommissioning requirements,, financial assurance requirements, and related
development and operational standards.
4. Conduct a public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of the City of
Paris for amendments to Exhibit 913, Zoning Ordinance, addition of § 32, Battery Energy
Storage Systems (BESS), to establish regulations governing Battery Energy Storage
Systems, including definitions, permitted locations, Specific Use Permit (SUP)
requirements, dimensional standards, buffering and screening requirements, airport and
glare protections, infrastructure standards, decommissioning requirements, financial
assurance requirements, and related development and operational standards.
