Paris -Lamar County Board of Health Regular Meeting
The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held a regular session on
Monday, May 18th, 2026.

Dr. Hughes made a motion and was seconded by Mrs. Pirtle to convene into open
session at 5:29 p.m.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Mrs. Graham made a motion and was seconded by Mrs. Prater to approve prior
meeting minutes.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Dr. Hays made a motion and was seconded by Mrs. Graham to approve Phillip
Darryl Haage and Mindy Nicole Dority to fill the two board member's seats (Dr.
Putnam and Mrs. Pirtle) that have fulfilled the maximum term allowed to serve.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Dr. Hughes made a motion and was seconded by Mrs. Graham to approve the
First Federal bank statement(s) ending in:
• March 2026
• April 2026

Chairman - Dr. Walker Putnam (2020-2023,2023-2026=Final) Vice -Chairman - Dr. Myers Hurt III (2022-2025,2025-2028 = Final) Secretary — Susan Bellene (2019-2022,2022-
2025=Final) Mitzie Pirtle (2020-2023, 2023-2026=Final) Susan Davis (2022-2025,2025-2028=Final) Dr. Amy Hughes (2022-2025,2025-2028=Final) Dr. Bart Hays (2023-2026,2026-2029=Final)
Mrs. Prestridge presented an acceptance letter to perform the annual audit for
the Paris -Lamar County Health District. Dr. Hughes made the motion to approve
the CPA letter and was seconded by Mrs. Pirtle.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Dr. Hughes made a motion to approve the updated Lamar County Active Living
Plan and was seconded by Mrs. Prater.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Mrs. Prestridge presented the 2026-2027 budget with level funding from the City
of Paris and Lamar County. Dr. Hughes made a motion to approve the budget and
was seconded by Dr. Hurt.
Motion carried. 6 yays, 0 nays.
Next QUARTERLY meeting will be either
Monday, July 20th, 2026
Monday, August 17t'', 2026, or
Monday, September 21St, 2026,

Mrs. Graham made the motion and was seconded by Mrs. Pirtle for the meeting
to be adjourned at 5:37 p.m.

At the August 17th, 2026 Board of Health Meeting, Dr. Bart Hays made the motion and Mrs. Kristen Prater seconded the motion for the PLCHD
board approved March 16th, 2026 minutes to be submitted to the City Clerk in the City Hall Annex, located at 150 S.E. 1 st Street, Paris, Texas, for filing.
Motion carried 7 yays and 0 nays.
