2005-135-RES APPOINTING ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO SERVE AND UNEXPIRED TERM
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-135
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING AN ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE
BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS TO
SERVE AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING JUNE 30, 2007; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Building and Standards
Commission of the City of Paris for an alternate member to serve the unexpired term of Greg
Wilson, as Alternate, which ends June 30, 2007, and it is necessary to appoint said new
member; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
Chris Brown as Alternate to serve the unexpired term of Greg Wilson, which ends June 30,
2007; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
things approved.
Section 2. That Chris Brown be, and he is hereby appointed to serve the unexpired term
of Greg Wilson which ends June 20, 2007, as Alternate member of the Building and Standards
Commission of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
