1994-068-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of the Ark of Governments; and,
RESOLUTION NO. 94-06 ~
WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is a member of the Ark-Tex Council
of Governments; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Ark-Tex Council of
Governments the Board of Directors of same shall be composed of members elected or
appointed by the membership; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is entitled to appoint three members of the Board of
Directors of Ark- Tex Council of Governments as provided in the Bylaws of the same; and,
WHEREAS, Don Shelton, Mayor of the City of Paris, recommends the
appointment by the City Council of the City of Paris of CHARLES E. FULBRIGHT as
George Fisher's successor, to serve until his successor is duly qualified or installed or until
they become disqualified to so serve; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
CHARLES E. FULBRIGHT be, and he is hereby appointed as a member of the Board of
Directors of Ark - Tex Council of Governments, to serve until his successor is duly qualified
or installed, or until he becomes disqualified to so serve.
