1994-064-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in Ordinance 045 on September 17, 1993, approve
RESOLUTION NO. 94-064
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in Ordinance No. 93-
045 on September 17, 1993, approve the advertisement for bids for Furnishing and
delivery of one (1) 1994 Type I, Class I Ambulance Cab-Chassis and Remount
for the Emergency Medical Services Department; which bids were received until
3:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, June 7, 1994; and,
WHEREAS, the best bid for such ambulance remount was made by
WHEELED COACH COMPANY, Mansfield, Texas, and it should be awarded the
bid for such ambulance remount; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the bid of WHEELED COACH COMPANY, for the Furnishing and
delivery of one (1) 1994 Type I, Class I Ambulance Cab-Chassis and Remount
for the Emergency Medical Services Department in the amount of $40,770.00 is
hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and
specifications included in the bid documents; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager of the City of Paris,
Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City of Paris the documents required for said ambulance remount; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Finance, W. E.
Anderson, be, and he is hereby directed to pay $40,770.00 upon installation and
delivery of said ambulance remount.
