1994-050-RES WHEREAS, VACANCY EXISTS ON MEMBERSHIP OF CONVENTION COUNCIL OF THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
RESOLUTION NO. 94-050
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Visitors and
Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, due to the
ineligibility of Jim Bell, and it is necessary to appoint his successor, and the Mayor
of the City of Paris, Don Shelton, having appointed Wayne Brown to serve the
unexpired term of Jim Bell, which ends December 31, 1995, and has submitted the
name of such person to the City Council of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the appointment of Wayne Brown, as a member of the Visitors and Convention
Council of the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, to serve the unexpired term
of Jim Bell, which ends December 31, 1995, is by the City Council of the City of
Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
