1994-027-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL IS IN RECEIPT OF THE RENO VOLUNTEER FIRE AND RESCUE
RESOLUTION 94-027
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris is in receipt of a request from
the Reno Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for inclusion of a portion of the City of
Paris' extraterritorial jurisdiction, as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, within the rural
fire prevention district which is being created by said Department; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris, Texas,
and those persons residing within the area described in Exhibit A, that the City of Paris
consent to the requested inclusion; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the City Council of the City of Paris does hereby consent to the inclusion of that
portion of the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Paris shown on Exhibit A attached
hereto within the rural fire prevention district to be created by the Reno Volunteer Fire
and Rescue Department.
