1994-017-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 12TH DAY OF APRIL 1993 RESOLUTION NO. 94-017 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore on the 12th day of April, 1993, pass Resolution No. 93-040, which said Resolution was incorrect and requires correction; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OJ' PARIS, that Resolution No. 93-040, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: " WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Ordinance No. 93-018 close a portion of the Old Paris-Clarksville Road, beginning at a point in the south right of way line of U.S. Highway No. 271 (Clarksville Street) approximately 109 feet east of the Northwest corner of Lot 9, City Block 311 and proceeding in an easterly direction approximately 1333.18 feet to the east boundary line of Lot 13, City Block 311; and, WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the abandoned and closed street right of way adjacent to Lots 13, 14, and 14A, City Block 311 has no utility except to the adjacent owner and, therefore, the abandoned right of way described in Exhibit A attached hereto, should be conveyed to the adjacent owner in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O}' PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, for a portion of the abandoned street being closed to the adjacent owner on either side of said abandoned street right of way which lies adjacent to Lots 13, 14 and 14A, City Block 311 to Larry Greb, the real and true owner of the said adjacent lots." BEGINNING at a point which is South 88 Deg. 55 Min. 35 Sec. East a distance of 599.66 feet from a a point in the south right- of-way line of existing U.S. Hwy. 271 (Clarksville Street) and South 11 Deg. 29 Min. 42 Sec. East a distance of 50 feet from center line survey station 90+30 of said U.S. Hwy. No. 271; said beginning point being in the North right-of-way line of the Old Paris-Clarksville Road; THENCE South 00 Deg. 26 Min. 00 Sec.
