1994-016-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN NO 94-015
RESOLUTION NO. 94-016
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution
No. 94-015 determine that it is appropriate for the City of Paris to embark upon
a redistricting endeavor; and,
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate to involve a citizen's committee to
participate in the redistricting process and it would be appropriate for the Mayor to
appoint said committee after receiving nominations from Councilpersons; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to accept nominations from the Councilpersons from each district as
follows:
3 from District No. 1
3 from District No. 2
2 from District No. 3
2 from District No.4
2 from District No. 5
2 from District No.6
2 from District No. 7
and on behalf of the City of Paris to appoint such citizens to a committee to assist
in the redistricting process.
