<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-031
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it advisable to establish a Main
<br />Street Project Advisory Board to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in relation to the
<br />Main Street Project, assuming philosophical responsibility for all activities of the Main Street
<br />Project; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Main Street Project Advisory Board will be responsible for establishing
<br />program policy, determining the goals and objectives of the program, and providing guidance and
<br />advice, with said Board to consist of ten (10) members for terms of three (3) years each; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, does hereby recommend the
<br />appointments of David House, Pat Taylor, Bill Payne, Dwight Chaney, Linda Suarez, Karen
<br />Wilkerson, Suzy Harper, Scott McDowell, Dr. William Hayden, and Ann Wyche for terms of
<br />three (3) years, beginning April 1, 1998, and ending March 31,2001; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
<br />Main Street Project Advisory Board, which will act in an advisory capacity to the City Council
<br />in relation to the Main Street Project, be, and the same is hereby, established; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that David House, Pat Taylor, Bill Payne, Dwight
<br />Chaney, Linda Suarez, Karen Wilkerson, Suzy Harper, Scott McDowell, Dr. William Hayden,
<br />and Ann Wyche be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Main Street Project
<br />Advisory Board for terms of three (3) years, beginning April 1, 1998 and ending March 31,2001.
