<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-030
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 8th day of
<br />January, 1979, in Resolution No. 1915, authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement with James
<br />M. Wrenn, Jr. for hangar space at Cox Field Airport; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 12th day of
<br />February, 1990, in Resolution No. 90-010, authorize the execution of a Lease Agreement with
<br />James M. Wrenn, Jr., renewing the prior lease for a period of five (5) years, beginning March 1,
<br />1990, and ending February 28, 1995, which renewal lease is dated October 1, 1990; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 10th day of June,
<br />1991, in Resolution No. 91-050, authorize the execution of Addendum Number One to Lease
<br />Agreement dated October 1, 1990; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of
<br />February, 1995, in Resolution 95-028, grant the Exercise of Option by James M. Wrenn, Jr. for
<br />a period of five (5) years, beginning March 1, 1995, and ending February 28, 2000, and authorize
<br />the execution of Addendum Number Two to Lease Agreement dated October 1, 1990; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, in order to provide for the temporary relocation of the Fixed Base Operator
<br />and the Airport Manager during the raising and reconstruction of the terminal at Cox Field
<br />Airport, it is deemed appropriate that the terms of the extended lease agreement be revised; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Addendum Number Three to Lease Agreement dated October
<br />1, 1990, between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and James M. Wrenn, Jr., attached hereto as
<br />Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, should
<br />be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
<br />form of Addendum Number Three to Lease Agreement dated October 1, 1990, between the City
<br />of Paris, Paris, Texas, and James M. Wrenn, Jr., attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same
<br />is hereby, approved; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he
<br />is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Addendum Number
<br />Three to said Lease Agreement, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit
<br />A, attached hereto.
