1998-028-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 4TH DAY
RESOLUTION NO. 98-028
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 4th day of
February, 1993, in Resolution No.93-012, approve the execution of the Cox Field Fixed Base
Operator Lease with J. B. Richey, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of
February, 1994, in Resolution No. 94-014, which was amended on the 9th day of February, 1998,
by Resolution No. 98-019, approve the execution of Addendum Number One to said Cox Field
Fixed Base Operator Lease, which changed the dimensions and the amount of rent to be paid for
office space being used by the Fixed Base Operator; and,
WHEREAS, in order to provide for the temporary relocation of the Fixed Base Operator
and the Airport Manager during the raising and reconstruction of the terminal at Cox Field
Airport, it is deemed appropriate that the terms of such Fixed Base Operator Lease be revised;
and,
WHEREAS, the form of Addendum Number Two to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease
dated February 4, 1993, between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, andJ. B. Richey, Inc., attached
hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the City Manager, Michael E.
Malone, should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
form of Addendum Number Two to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease dated February 4, 1993,
between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and J. B. Richey, Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit A, be,
and the same is hereby, approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Addendum Number
Two to said Fixed Base Operator Lease, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown
in Exhibit A, attached hereto.

ADDENDUM NUMBER TWO TO COX FIELD FIXED BASE OPERATOR LEASE
DATED FEBRUARY 4,1993, BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
AND J. B. RICHEY, INC.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That this Addendum Number Two to Cox Field Fixed Base Operator Lease dated February
4, 1993, between the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and J. B. Richey, Inc., is made this 9th day of
March, 1998, by and between the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, acting by and through its
City Manager, Michael E. Malone, duly authorized, hereinafter called LESSOR, and J. B.
RI CHEY, INC., acting by and through its President, J. B. Richey, hereinafter called LESSEE.
WITNESSETH
It is hereby mutually agreed by and between LESSOR and LESSEE as follows:
1. That Article I, A., be amended to read as follows:
"A. Description of Premises Demised. The demised premises described in
Addendum Number One dated February 14, 1994, are available to Lessee
only through February 28, 1998, and thereafter temporary premises will be
provided as available."
2. That Article IV be amended to read as follows:
"The term of this lease shall be fir a period of six (6) years and one (1) month,
beginning February 8, 1998, and ending March 31,2004."
3. That Article V, c., is hereby amended to read as follows:
"C. Payment for Office Rental. The 224.5 square feet of office space described
in Addendum Number One dated February 14, 1994, is leased to Lessee at the
monthly rate of Two Hundred and no/lOO Dollars ($200.00) through February 28,
1998, which monthly rate shall be paid on or before the 10th day of each month,
thereafter temporary quarters will be provided, as available, at the monthly rate of
EXECUTED on the 9th day of March, 1998.
