RESOLUTION NO. 98-012 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that Lot 2, City Block 322, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, has a zoning classification of Agricultural District (A); and, WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris and, in the event that the same should be changed to a Commercial District (C) classification, that such recommendation should be made to the City Council for final action; and, WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 2nd day of March, 1998, and before the City Council at 6:00 p.m. on the 5th day of March, 1998; NOW, THERE}'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OJ' PARIS, that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lot 2, City Block 322, be, and the same is hereby, referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of the same; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 2nd day of March, 1998, and that a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of March, 1998, said public hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said property.
