1990-035-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Texas, will from time to time authorize water citizens of Lamar
RESOLUTION NO. 90-035
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, will from time to time authorize water service to
citizens of Lamar County to be delivered outside the city
limits of the City of Paris;
WHEREAS, the City Council shall from time to time fix
the rate at which such water customers shall be served; and,
WHEREAS, the desire to serve such customers as soon as
possible make it appropriate that the City Council authorize
the City Manager, Michael E. Malone, to enter into contracts
with such customers in accordance with the currently estab-
lished City policy without further direction or authority;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that, Michael E. Malone, City Manager, of the City of
Paris be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter
in to wa ter serv ice contr ac ts to de 1 i ver water outs ide the
city limits of the City of Paris in accordance with policies
established by the City Council of the City of Paris.
