1990-032-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-061, award the the refurbishing
RESOLUTION NO. 90-032
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-061, award the contract for
the refurbishing and repair of a 1,000,000 gallon double
ellipsoidal elevated water storage tank, off 25th Street N.E.
in Paris, Texas to Don L. Owen Painting Contractors, Inc.;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as
project engineer of said project recommends the amendment of
sa id con tr ac t by Change Order No. One and Final attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in
contract price of $13,031.20 for a total of $113,962.20 to
add cathodic protection and make other repairs, and such form
should be approved, and the Mayor should be author ized to
execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the refurbishing and repair of a 1,000,000 gallon double
ellipsoidal elevated water storage tank, off 25th Street N.E.
in Paris, Texas Project, contract is hereby amended by Change
Order No. One and Final attached hereto as Exhibi t "A",
providing for a net increase in contract price of $13,031.20
for a total of $113,962.20 to add cathodic protection and
make other repairs, which is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Eric Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said
Change Order No. One and Final.
