1990-030-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-136, award the Manhole
RESOLUTION NO. 90-030
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-136, award the contract for
Manhole Rehab i 1 i ta t ion Pro j ec t No. 88 -WSRB-05 -89, to Rhode
Construction Company; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as
project engineer of said project recommends the amendment of
sa id con tr ac t by Change Order No. One attached hereto as
Exhibit "A", which provides for a net decrease in contract
price of $7,990.00 for a total of $521,221.00 for adjustment
in unit bid prices as a result of misinterpretation of the
contract documents, as they relate to the bid items specific
requirements, and such form should be approved, and the Mayor
should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that Manhole Rehabilitation Project No. 88-WSRB-05-89,
contract is hereby amended by Change Order No. One attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", providing for a net decrease in
contract price of $7,990.00 for a total of $521,221.00 for
adjustment in unit bid prices as a result of
misinterpretation of the contract documents, as they relate
to the bid items specific requirements, which is in all
things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Eric Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said
Change Order No. One.
