1990-029-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of heretofore authorize the preparation of specifications for
RESOLUTION 90-029
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and
specifications for drainage improvements to Big Sandy
Tributaries No.4 and 6 (sometimes incorrectly referred to as
Buttermilk Creek), beginning on Tributary No.4 at the North
Boundary Line of Simpson Street box culvert being Station
109+80 and proceeding in a northerly direction to Station
110+98, and on Tributary No.6, beginning at the East
Boundary Line of Tributary No. 4 being Station 19+20, thence
in an easterly direction to Station 19+51.25; and on
Tr ibutary No.6, beginning at the Nor th Boundary Line of
Culbertson Street at Station 11+48 northerly to Station
13+88.7; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications were originally
prepared by Richard Babb, and have been revised by Ear 1
Smith, City Engineer, for a project entitled, Drainage
Improvements on Big Sandy Creek Tributary No. 4 Station
109+80 to Station 110+98, which plans and specifications are
recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of
Paris; and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be
approved and such project should be advertised for bids; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
Tha t the plans and spec i fica t ions for the Dr a inage
Improvements on Big Sandy Creek Tributary No. 4 Station
109+80 to Station 110+98, beginning on Tributary No.4 at the
North Boundary Line of Simpson Street box culvert being
Station 109+80 and proceeding in a northerly direction to
Station 110+98, and on Tributary No.6, beginning at the East
Boundary Line of Tributary No.4 being Station 19+20, thence
in an easterly direction to Station 19+51.25; and on
Tributary No.6, beginning at the North Boundary Line of
Culbertson Street at Station 11+48 northerly to Station
13+88.7, are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That such Project should be
advertised for bids to be received after due notice and
thereafter returned to City Council for letting, at 3:00
o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, April 3, 1990, and should be
presented to the City Council on the 9th day of April, 1990,
for the purpose of letting such bid.
