1990-007-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of heretofore in Resolution No. 90-006 approve the assignment of
RESOLUTION NO. 90-007
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 90-006 approve the execution of an
assignment of the Pasture Lease Agreement from Kyle Clement to
Jim Coplin and Kelly Coplin; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of the lease agreement are in need of
revision and an Addendum Number One to Lease Agreement dated July
21,1988, in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto should be
executed; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
That Addendum Number One to Lease Agreement dated July 21, 1988,
and assigned to Jim Coplin and Kelly Coplin, in the form of
Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of the City of Paris,
Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute on behalf of the City of Paris, Addendum Number One to
Lease Agreement dated July 21,1988, attached hereto as Exhbiit
A.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that this Addendum to Lease
Agreement, made this 12th day of February, 1990, by and between
Jim Coplin and Kelly Coplin, hereinafter called LESSEES, and the
City of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor,
Eric S. Clifford, duly authorized, hereinafter called LESSOR,
WITNESSETH:
It is hereby mutually agreed by LESSEES and LESSOR, that the
following paragraphs be amended to read as follows:
1. That in lieu of cash rental of $2,500.00 per year for
the first 3 years and $3,000.00 for the option 5 years, LESSEES
are willing to build one-half (t) mile of new fence per year
consisting of 5-wire barbed wire fence, steel posts 12 feet apart
with a stay in between with welded metal corners. LESSEES will
also maintain existing fence until it is renewed.
