1997-021-RES WHEREAS, IT HAS BEEN CALLED TO THE ATTENTION OF CITY COUNCIL THAT THERE IS AN ALLEY RUNNING EAST
RESOLUTION NO. 97-021
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris
that there is an alley running East and West between BOOtll Street and Tudor Street, BEGINNING
at the West Boundary Line of 19th Street N.E.,West to the East Boundary Line of 17th Street
N.E.; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the alley is not
desired by the property owners adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use and necessary
to the City of Paris and its citizens for drainage and utility easement purposes; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
execute a special warranty deed conveying, in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, the
City's interest in the closed alley located between Booth Street and Tudor Street, beginning at the
West Boundary Line of 19th Street N.E., West to the East Boundary Line of 17th Street N.E.,to
the adjacent owners on either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the
hereinafter described lots are as follows:
