1997-013-RES WHEREAS, TXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE WILL CONDUCT 12TH ANNUAL WORKSHOP IN DALLAS
RESOLUTION NO. 97-013
WHEREAS, the Texas Municipal League will be conducting the 12th Annual Civil Service
Workshop in Dallas on March 6 and 7, 1997, which interferes with the regularly scheduled City
Council meeting on Thursday, March 6, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the regular Thursday meeting of the City
Council scheduled for March 6, 1997, be consolidated with the regular Monday meeting of the
City Council scheduled for March 10, 1997; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
regular Thursday meeting of the City Council scheduled for March 6, 1997, be, and the same is
hereby, rescheduled for Monday, March 10, 1997, at 6:00 o'clock P.M.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be placed on the City Hall
Bulletin Board giving notice of the rescheduling of the regular Thursday March Council meeting,
and that the news media be informed of the rescheduled date in the same manner they are informed
of emergency City Council meetings.
