JOINT RESOLUTION NO. ---.J97-0Ql
WHEREAS, the terms of office of DR. GORDON B. STROM, JR., DR. DAVID
BROCK, MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS, and DR. CHARLES TARVIN,
as members of the Paris-Lamar County Advisory Board of Health, did expire on December 31,
1996; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, with the advice of the
County Judge of Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the reappointment of DR.
GORDON B. STROM, JR., MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS AND DR.
CHARLES TARVIN for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 1997, and ending
December 31, 1998; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0.' PARIS AND THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, that DR. GORDON B.
STROM, JR., MRS. ROBERT NORMENT, REV. SAMUEL EVANS AND DR. CHARLES
T ARVIN be, and they are hereby, reappointed to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County
Advisory Board of Health for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 1997, and ending
December 31, 1998.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, 1997.
