RESOLUTION NO. 98-174
JOINT RESOLUTION NO. J98-o03
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Ir., Dr. Caroline Wilson, Mrs.
Robert Norment, Dr. Ed Clark, and Rev. Samuel Evans, as members of the Paris-Lamar County
Board of Health, will expire on December 31, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Charles H. Neeley, with the advice of the
County Judge of Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the reappointment of Dr. Gordon
B. Strom, Jr., Dr. Caroline Wilson, Mrs. Robert Norment, Dr. Ed Clark, and Rev. Samuel
Evans, for terms of two (2) years, beginning January l, 1999, and ending December 31,2000;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, that Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Jf.,
Dr. Caroline Wilson, Mrs. Robert Norment, Dr. Ed Clark, and Rev. Samuel Evans be, and they
are hereby, reappointed to serve as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health for terms
of two (2) years, beginning January 1,1999, and ending December 31,2000.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of December, 1998.
