RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH
ENTERING INTO A RUN OUT ADMINISTRATIVE AGREEMENT WITH
TML INTERGOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS POOL; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the City Finance Director have identified the necessity
of entering in a Run Out Administrative Agreement associated with the payment of claims incurred
prior to May 1, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the City has received recommendations from representatives of the Texas
Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool, which acts as the administrator of the
City's health insurance program; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the City Manager to execute any and all
necessary documents associated with a Run Out Administrative Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents
necessary and required associated with implementing a Run Out Administrative Agreement
associated with the payment of claims incurred prior to May 1, 2006.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective May 1, 2006.

Employee Benefits Pool, 1821 Rutherford Lane, Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78754

o Self funded Dental Claims incurred prior to 5/1/06 and received by TML IEBP (Self-
funded Dental II Plan) $ 3.25 Per Paid Claim
o Medical Claims incurred prior to 5/1/06 and received by TML IEBP $12.75 Per Paid
Claim
4, Optional Services provided during claim administration process:
o ClincaLogic No Charge
o Custom Claims Reports $150.00/programming hour
o Audits 15% of savings - External Vendor
o Subrogation 20% of savings- In House Counsel
This Amendment is made binding by the signature of your and our representatives who are duly
authorized to enter into such agreements.
