MARCH 21. 2006 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK NOON <br /> <br />1. The Board of Adjustment Board meeting was called to order by Chairman <br />John Mark Spencer at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Terry Christian <br />Rodney Bass <br />Howard Corriston <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Kyle McCarley <br />Alternate: David Glass <br /> <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the July 25, 2005, meeting was made by Rodney Bass, seconded by Terry <br />Christian Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Caroline Dangerfield granting a <br />variance of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 9-301 to modify the permitted <br />depth of the lot from 100' to 73' in order to rotate the home to face Grove <br />Street, on Lot 1, Block 3, Kinzie A Pickiard Addition, located at 1020 7 ~ Street <br />N.E. Lisa Wright advised the Board that Ms. Dangerfield had received zoning <br />from the P&Z and City Council; however, because the lot is on a corner, the <br />house would have been sited oddly if it were to face 71/2 Street. Therefore, <br />Ms. Dangerfield is requesting that she be permitted to turn the house to face <br />Grove. This creates an issue with the lot depth, so the Board is asked to grant <br />a variance to allow the depth of the lot to be less than that required by the <br />Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />4. Consideration of and action on the petition of Caroline Dangerfield granting <br />a variance of Zoning Ordinance No. 1710, Section 9.301 to modify the <br />permitted depth of the lot from 100' to 73' in order to rotate the home to face <br />Grove Street, on Lot 1, Block 3, Kinzie A Pickiard Addition, located at 1020 7 <br />~ Street N.E.
