1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by
Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M.
A. The following members were present:
Barbara Wilson, Vice Chairman
Jerry Raper
Paul Denney
Alternates: Brian Wear
The following members were absent:
Alternate: Becki Norment
Sue Lancaster
Ann Rogers, Secretary
Claudia Hunt
B. Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and
Bethany Golden, Main Street Coordinator/Asst. HPO.
2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness:
A. 361 Grand Avenue. Salvation Army. Although representatives from
KBI had said they would be in attendance, there was no one present to
speak for the requested COA, Chairman Starrett announced that the
meeting would be continued to the following business day, March 14,
2006, at 12:00 noon, in order to contact Salvation Army representatives
to ensure that someone is present.
The meeting adjourned at 12:03 P.M.
