RESOLUTION NO. 2006-058
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2006-055 AND APPOINTING A
MEMBER TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council ofthe City of Paris did heretofore approve Resolution 2006-
055 on March 27, 2006 which reappointed Barbara Wilson to the Main Street Advisory Board
which was in error; and,
WHEREAS, the term of office of Barbara Wilson as a member of the Main Street Advisory
Board of the City of Paris, expired on March 31, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of Cindy
Allcorn for a term of three (3) years, beginning April 1 , 2006, and ending March 31, 2009; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Resolution No. 2006-055 be amended by removing the reappointment of
Barbara Wilson to the Main Street Advisory Board and the same is hereby approved.
Section 3. That Cindy Allcorn be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve as a member of the
Main Street Advisory Board for terms of three (3) years, beginning April 1 , 2006, and ending March
31,2009.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.

RESOLUTION NO. 2006-059
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE TRAFFIC
COMMISSION TO SERVE THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF MATT
FRIERSON, WHICH EXPIRES JUNE 30, 2007; MAKING OTHER
FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership ofthe Traffic Commission ofthe
City of Paris due to the resignation of Matt Frierson, and it is necessary to appoint his successor;
and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
David Mizell to serve the unexpired term of Matt Frierson, which ends June 30, 2007; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That David Mizell be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term
of Matt Frierson, which ends June 30, 2007, as a member of the Traffic Commission of the City
of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
