6. Public Hearing to receive input regarding designation of an area as
Reinvestment Zone No. 15 associated with a proposed tax abatement for
Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
A. Consideration of and action on an ordinance providing for the
establishment of Reinvestment Zone No. 15 in furtherance of a tax
abatement for Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
B. Consideration of and action on a resolution approving and authorizing
a Tax Abatement Agreement between the City of Paris and Kimberly-
Clark Corporation.
7. Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 7 of the City Charter and Section 43.142 of
the Local Government Code, to consider the disannexation of an 825.08 acre
tract of land on U.S. Highway 271 South, located south of Cox Field Airport
forming a portion of the current outer boundaries of the city limits of the City
of Paris.
8. Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 7 of the City Charter and Section 43.142 of
the Local Government Code, to consider the disannexation of a 116.41 acre
tract of land at State Hwy 19/24 South forming a portion of the current outer
boundaries of the city limits of the City of Paris.
9. Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
A. Third and final reading of an ordinance granting to TXU Electric Delivery
Company, its successors and assigns, the non-exclusive right to use
and occupy right-of-way within the City of Paris for the construction and
operation of an electric transmission and distribution system, and
prescribing conditions governing the use of the public rights-of-way in
the City of Paris.
B. Revising Section 31-65 (b) ofthe Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris
and revising the Traffic Control Map to provide for a No Parking Zone on
the south side of East Price Street from the west curb line of 20th Street
NE to the east curb line of 17th Street NE.

C. Establishing maximum, reasonable and prudent rates of speed on US 82
in Paris from Loop 286 to east City Limits.
10. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Nominating Campbell Soup Supply Company L.L.C. to The Office of The
Governor, Economic Development and Tourism ("OOGEDT") through
The Economic Development Bank for Designation as a Qualified
Business and Enterprise Project.
B. Authorizing the execution of a Tax Sale Deed to part of Lot 9, and all of
Lot 10 and the west 15 feet of Lot 11, Block 5, S. J. Wright Grand Avenue
Addition, located at 1864 W. Austin.
C. Approving and authorizing the execution of a Water Service Contract
between the City of Paris and Lamar County Water Supply District.
11. Discussion of staffing within the Paris Fire Department.
12. Citizens Forum.
(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to two
(2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance notice
of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to appear
on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the matter to
a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual
information. Claims against the City and individual personnel appeals are not
appropriate for Citizens Forum).
