ORDINANCE NO. 2006-022
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC
NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-
65 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING AREA:
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF JUNE 1,2006.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-
65 ofthe Code of Ordinances ofthe City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby,
amended to include the following No Parking area:
"South side of East Price Street from the west curb line of 20th Street NE
to the east curb line of 17th Street NE. "
Section 2. That any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed
$200.00.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
expressly repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be effective on June 1,2006.
