RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. THREE AND
FINAL TO CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE PROJECT-PHASE II, FEDERAL
PROJECT STP 2000 (615) TE, CSJ-0901-29-017, CONCURRENT WITH
THE APPROVAL OF THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 8th day of
December, 2003, in Resolution No. 2300-187, award the contract for the "Downtown
Streetscape Project, Federal Project STP 2000 (615) TE, CSJ #0901-29-107," to Encino
Landscape, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Hayter Engineering, Inc., acting as project engineer, recommends the
amendment of the contract for said project to provide for an adjustment of the estimated
quantities for Phase II to as-built quantities, and providing for a net decrease of$I,904.40 in the
contract price; and,
WHEREAS, the Change Order No. Three and Final Summary, attached hereto as
Exhibit A, should in all things be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute said
Change Order No. Three and Final concurrent with the approval of the Texas Department of
Transportation; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in
all things approved.
Section 2. That the Change Order No. Three and Final Summary to the Contract for
the "Downtown Streetscape Project, Federal Project STP 2000 (615) TE, CSJ #0901-29-107,",
attached hereto as Exhibit A, to provide for adjustment of estimated quantities for Phase II to
as-built quantities, and providing for a net decrease of$1,904.40 in the contract price, be, and
the same is hereby, approved.
Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute,
on behalf of the City of Paris, Change Order No. Three and Final, upon the terms and
conditions and in conformance with the Summary shown in Exhibit A attached hereto,

Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage.
