1998-126-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL, IN AN EFFORT TO REGULATE WATER AND SEWER, RESOLUTION NO. 98-126 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in an effort to regulate water and sewer rates in relationship with the actual cost of water distribution and wastewater treatment, did heretofore request a water and sewer rate study from DMG-Maximus, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, the Water and Sewer Rate Committee has reviewed the City of Paris Report on the Development of Water and Sewer Rates prepared by DMG-Maximum, Inc. and recommends the adoption of said study; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has reviewed the City of Paris Report on the Development of Water and Sewer Rates, and it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Paris that said study be adopted in consideration of the preparation of an ordinance to establish water and sewer rates in the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the City of Paris Report on the Development of Water and Sewer Rates prepared by DMG-Maximus, Inc. be, and the same is hereby, adopted to establish water and sewer rates in the City of Paris.
