<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-125 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 26th day <br />of September, 1997, in Ordinance No. 97-047, authorize the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for a project of construction for approximately 1,225 feet of six foot high <br />chain link fence and all appurtenances at Cox Field Airport; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl Smith, City <br />Engineer, with the title being given thereto of "Chain Link Security Fence - Cox Held" <br />project, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer <br />of the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved <br />and such project should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that <br />the plans and specifications for the "Chain Link Security Fence - Cox Field" project be, <br />and the same are hereby, approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such construction of approximately 1,225 feet <br />of six foot high chain link fence and all appurtenances at Cox Field Airport project be <br />advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the <br />City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 10:00 o'clock a.m. <br />on Monday, September 14, 1998, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council <br />Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be <br />tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 14th day of September, 1998, for the <br />purpose of letting such bid. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />1 ~ <br />..... .'-+ <br />~/g'i/A~ .(~ <br /> <br />Scott P.
