RESOLUTION NO. 98-125 WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 26th day of September, 1997, in Ordinance No. 97-047, authorize the preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for approximately 1,225 feet of six foot high chain link fence and all appurtenances at Cox Field Airport; and, WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer, with the title being given thereto of "Chain Link Security Fence - Cox Held" project, which plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved and such project should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the plans and specifications for the "Chain Link Security Fence - Cox Field" project be, and the same are hereby, approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such construction of approximately 1,225 feet of six foot high chain link fence and all appurtenances at Cox Field Airport project be advertised for bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 10:00 o'clock a.m. on Monday, September 14, 1998, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 14th day of September, 1998, for the purpose of letting such bid.
