1998-120-RES WHEREAS, PEDC DID HERETOFORE ON THE 17TH DAY
RESOLUTION NO. 98-120
WHEREAS, The Paris Economic Development Corporation did heretofore, on the 17th
day of February, 1998, in Resolution No. 98-002, approve an Incentive Agreement with H-W
Commercial Warehouse, Inc. and H-W Investments which included approximately 1,300 linear
feet of paving and drainage improvements along 7th Street Southwest; and,
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by Hayter Engineering, with
the title being given thereto of "Paving of 7th Street Southwest" Project No. 46.49, which plans
and specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that such plans and specifications be approved
and such project should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
plans and specifications for the "Paving of 7th Street Southwest" Project No. 46.49 be, and the
same are hereby, approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such paving project be advertised for bids to be
received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris, City Hall, 135 1 st
Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 1998, at which
time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris,
Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council on the 14th
day of September, 1998, for the purpose of letting such bid.
