<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-111 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, in an effort to keep the ad valorem tax <br />rate as low as possible, did budget in the 1997-98 Budget funds to be generated from the sale of <br />surplus property; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lots 5,6,7, and 8, Block 7, Springlake Addition and Lots 8,9, 10, and 11, <br />Block 8, Springlake Addition, with all nine lots being in the 200 and 300 blocks on the west side <br />of Collegiate Drive, have no planned municipal use, either presently or in the foreseeable future, <br />and it is deemed appropriate that said property be declared surplus and sold in accordance with <br />the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris; NOW, THEREI'ORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that Lots <br />5, 6,7, and 8, Block 7, Springlake Addition and Lots 8,9, 10, and 11, Block 8, Springlake <br />Addition, be, and the same are hereby, declared to be surplus; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said property should be sold in accordance with the <br />laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of August, 1998. <br /> <br />A T1EST: <br /> <br /> <br />~~\~~~~~C\~ <br /> <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler. <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />Scott P.
