<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-110
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact
<br />that Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block 7, Springlake Addition and Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block 8,
<br />Springlake Addition, with all nine lots being in the 200 and 300 blocks on the west side of
<br />Collegiate Drive, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, has a zoning classification
<br />of One-Family Dwelling District No.2 (SF-2); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that such
<br />zoning classification be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
<br />Paris and, in the event that the same should be changed to a Planned Development District
<br />a (PDa) classification, that such recommendation should be made to the City Council for
<br />final action; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing be set before the Planning
<br />and Zoning Commission at 5:30 p.m., in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas, on Tuesday, the 8th day of September, 1998, and before the City Council at 6:00
<br />p.m. on the 10th day of September, 1998; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O}' PARIS, that
<br />the matter of appropriate zoning on Lots 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block 7, Spring lake Addition and
<br />Lots 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block 8, Springlake Addition, be, and the same are hereby, referred
<br />to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation
<br />concerning the proper zoning of the same; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and before the
<br />Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris at 5: 30 p. m., in the City Council
<br />Chamber, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on Tuesday, the 8th day of September, 1998, and that
<br />a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris at 6:00 p.m. in
<br />the City Council Chamber, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 10th day of September, 1998,
<br />said public hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said property.
