<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-107
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of July,
<br />1998, in Resolution No. 98-100, approve the advertisement for bids for furnishing plant, labor,
<br />materials, and equipment, and for performing all work required for the fencing around the "PLUM
<br />STREET 1900 BLOCK SURF ACE WATER RUNOFF POLLUTION AND FLOOD
<br />MITIGATION PROJECT," TXOOT Project No. CSJ 0901-29-905, which bids were received
<br />until 3:00 o'clock p.m., on the 4th day of August, 1998; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such construction was made by Emerson Fence Company,
<br />of Paris, Texas, and it should be awarded the bid for the same; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of the agreement for such construction project, attached hereto as
<br />Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should be
<br />authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0.' PARIS, that the bid
<br />of Emerson Fence Company for the fencing around the 'PLUM STREET 1900 BLOCK
<br />SURFACE WATER RUNOF}' POLLUTION AND FLOOD MITIGATION PROJECT,"
<br />TXOOT Project No. CSJ 0901-29-905 in the amount of $9,649.50, be, and the same is hereby,
<br />accepted and let conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications
<br />included in the bid documents; and,
<br />
<br />BE IT }-'URTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be, and he is
<br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Agreement with
<br />Emerson Fence Company, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A,
<br />attached hereto.
