JOINT RESOLUTION NO. J98-oOl
WHEREAS, there exists two vacancies on the membership of the Paris-Lamar County
Board of Health due to the resignations of Dr. Charles Tarvin and Dr. David Brock, and it is
necessary to appoint their successors; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Charles H. Neeley, with the advice of the
County Judge of Lamar County, Texas, does hereby recommend the appointment of Dr. Caroline
Wilson to serve the unexpired term of Dr. Charles Tarvin, and Dr. Ed Clark to serve the
unexpired term formerly held by Dr. David Brock, which ends December 31, 1998; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS AND THE
COMMISSIONERS COURT OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, that Dr. Caroline Wilson be,
and she is hereby, appointed to serve the unexpired term of Dr. Charles Tarvin, and Dr. Ed Clark
to serve the unexpired term formerly held by Dr. David Brock which ends December 31, 1998,
as members of the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health.
