RESOLUTION NO. 98-080 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 29th day of April, 1996, in Resolution No. 96-037, as the nominating entity for the Greater Paris Development Foundation, Inc., apply for the Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program Grant for the project entitled "Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation"; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of January, 1997, in Resolution No. 97-004, authorize the execution of the Agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation Project, CSJ #0901-29-012; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of July, 1997, in Resolution No. 97-084, authorize the execution of the Lobbying Certification for Contracts, Grants, Loans, and Cooperative Agreements as a part of said agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for said project; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 19th day of December, 1997, in Resolution No. 97-154, authorize the execution of the Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect for the Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation Project with Keystone Architects; and, WHEREAS, the Design Review Committee has recommended the construction management approach to the project, and it is deemed appropriate that requests for proposals be solicited for a Construction Manager; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OJ' THE CITY OF PARIS, that requests for proposals be solicited for a Construction Manager for the "Paris Santa Fe Frisco Railroad Depot Rehabilitation" Project.
