1998-072-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 14TH DAY
RESOLUTION NO. 98-072
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 14th day of
October, 1963, in Resolution No. 1068, establish a policy regarding fire service outside the city
limits of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, due to the recent annexation, it is deemed appropriate that Resolution No.
1068 be repealed and declared null and void and of no effect in order that adequate fire service
will be available within the city limits; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
Resolution No. 1068 be, and the same is hereby, repealed and declared null and void and of no
effect.
