<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-070 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Curtis Fendley and Leon Williams, as members of the <br />Board of Directors of the Paris Economic Development Corporation, will expire on July 19, 1998; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, Charles H. Neeley, does hereby recommend <br />the appointment of Jay Guest and Melba Harris for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 20, <br />1998, and ending July 19, 2001; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that Jay <br />Guest and Melba Harris be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as members of the Board of <br />Directors of the Paris Economic Development Corporation for terms of three (3) years, beginning <br />July 20, 1998, and ending July 19, 2001. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 1998. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />9~~ <br /> <br />Scott P.
