A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the tenns of office of Ryan Lassiter, Lucius Joe, Jr., Harrell Tippett, Greg Wilson, as members and Pike Burkhart and Stephen Brown as alternate members of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on June 30,2006; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointment of Lucius Joe, Jr., and Harrell Tippett, and the appointment of David Nabors and Vicki Ballard as members; and reappointment of Stephen Brown as alternate member and the appointment of Scott Scholz as alternate member, for tenns of two (2) years, beginning July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2008; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That Lucius Joe, Jr. and Harrell Tippit be, and they are hereby, reappointed, and that David Nabors and Vicki Ballard be, and they are hereby, appointed to serve as members; and the reappointment of Stephen Brown as alternate member and the appointment of Scott Scholz as alternate member, of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris for tenns oftwo (2) years, beginning July 1, 2006, and ending June 30, 2008. Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of July, 2006.
