Wastewater Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant.

7. Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A. Approving and authorizing the execution of a Contract between the
Department of State Health Services, Bureau of Vital Statistics for Vital
Statistics Records, DSHS Document No. 537537537A*2008P-01.
B. Approving and authorizing the execution of a Medical Services Contract
with Jon K. Plummer, M.D.
C. Approving and Authorizing the procurement of utility easements for the
TxDOT Grade Separation of US 82/US 271 (NE Loop 286) at Pine Mill
Road Project.
8. Citizens Forum.
(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to
two (2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance
notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to
appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the
matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with
specific factual information. Claims against the City and individual personnel
appeals are not appropriate for Citizens Forum).
9. Report on taxing of property at the municipal airport.
10. Discussion of City action with regard to business permits for persons working
out of their homes and contractors without licenses.
11. Receipt of Certified 2006 Appraisal Roll.
12. Possible future agenda items.
13. Referrals.
14. Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas
Government Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive advice of legal
counsel pertaining to pending or possible litigation and to receive advice of
legal counsel pursuant to the duty of an attorney to his client under the Texas
Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct ofthe State Bar of Texas, regarding
the following matters:
A. Jim Bell vs. The City of Paris, Texas, Cause No. 75213, pending in the
62nd Judicial District Court for Lamar County, Texas.

15. Reconvene in open session to consider and take necessary action as deemed
appropriate regarding those matters discussed in the Executive Session.
