RESOLUTION NO. 2006-113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO FILL A
VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY
OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Board of
Adjustment ofthe City of Paris due to the resignation of John Mark Spencer, and it
is necessary to appoint his successor; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that Chester Martindale be appointed
to serve the unexpired term of John Mark Spencer, which ends December 31,2006;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
hereby in all things approved.
Section 2. That Chester Martindale be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve
the unexpired term of John Mark Spencer, which ends December 31, 2006, as a
member of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of
passage.
