RESOLUTION NO. 2006-112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the term of office of Claudia Hunt, as a member of the Historic Preservation
Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on July 31, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the term of office of Becki Norment, as an alternate member of the Historic
Preservation Commission of the City of Paris, will expire on July 31, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, it is hereby recommended that Nancy Partridge be appointed as a member, and
that Vanessa Preston be appointed as an alternate member, for terms of two (2) years, beginning
August 1, 2006, and ending July 31, 2008; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
approved.
Section 2. That Nancy Partridge be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve as a member of
the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning
August 1, 2006, and ending July 31, 2008.
Section 3. That Vanessa Preston be, and she is hereby, appointed to serve as an alternate
member of the Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Paris for a term of two (2) years,
beginning August I, 2006, and ending July 31, 2008.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
